Hey everyone,
I haven't played yet so a little curious...What does the monk's attack look like when your just a plan monk? I've seen the guild wars one, two and three and the fire elemtralist attacks with fire ball type things, obviously. I'm really curious though on what the monks attack look like? Do your best at trying to explain over the internet lol.

The different stlye of attack are by weapon not class.

As far as I know, some Monks don't use any weapons at all except when soloing in like Preseared Ascalon maybe.

i am not sure exactly what you mean here..
the monk i played typically used a wand, which most other casters use as well. from what i recall, it was something like an overhand swing with a little ball of energy flying out of the wand..

Monk attacks look like everyone else's. It just depends what type of weapon you're using.

okay i think i get it. So if i were to use a wand my attack would just be like a "small ball of energy", and if i used a sword..well then it would look like a sword

Thats right, but each class has a different spell casting animation, even when casting spells from their secondary class.

Uhh... Screenshots would be the best description. Hehe. Anyway...

Elementalists attack with more than just fireballs. They attack with earth, fire, air (mostly lightning), and water (mostly ice).

Each of the monks spells look a bit different. But the casting animation is usually very similar. Each profession has several different casting animations that get re-used. What's usually the most different is the graphics that surround you when you cast and stuff like that. go look for screenshots. there might be some at guild-hall.net but smiting monks are unpopular.
